International corporate communications and advocacy consultancy, Fourtold, has appointed India Knight as a Partner and UK Managing Director, in a move to deepen and expand the consultancy’s presence in the UK market.
In her new role as UK MD, India will lead Fourtold’s UK operations and develop its client proposition, building on the success that the firm has enjoyed advising its clients on European policy and corporate communications over the last 10 years.
With 15 years’ experience advising clients on strategy, reputation management and policy advocacy, India joins from global strategy firm Stonehaven where she was a partner and played a major role in the rapid growth of the firm and expansion of its campaigning offer over the last four years. Before that, she was a managing director in Teneo’s London office where she worked for 10 years and held a number of management positions.
Reflecting on her new role, India said “Fourtold has an impressive track record of bringing together policy, strategy and creativity to build campaigns that deliver real outcomes for some of the biggest names in tech and sustainability in Europe. I’m really excited about how we can build and grow that offer in the UK at a time of major change in UK business and politics.”

This latest announcement closely follows Fourtold’s appointment of Katy Searle, former Senior Controller at BBC News and the Executive Editor of BBC Politics. Nicola Scocchi joined Fourtold as a Partner and Head of the Brussels Office in January, having worked previously at Edelman and FTI Consulting.
