Position: Associate Director / Director, Healthcare

Location: Brussels

Reports to: Partner and Head of Brussels Office

Broad Responsibilities: Play a key role in development and implementation of the Brussels office’s strategy, as a member of the Leadership Team; Support existing clients in the Healthcare sector, lead relevant team members, and develop Fourtold’s offering in the space.

Start date: June 2024

We are seeking an ambitious public affairs and communications professional to join our expanding team in order to play a leading role in the healthcare space as well as in our Brussels Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to support interesting clients, grow further the existing team and shape our offering in healthcare and beyond.

What tasks you can look forward to:

Supporting and shaping the overall strategy of our Brussels office as a member of the Brussels Leadership Team.
Contributing to our culture and playing a pivotal role in retaining and developing our best talent both as a client team leader and mentor/coach.
Taking on a team and project lead role and establishing yourself as a key client contact on several projects.
Playing a leading role in developing Fourtold’s offering in healthcare space, and in growing the client portfolio.
Advising on strategies and/or campaigns to shape public policy and the surrounding stakeholder and media/social media ecosystem.
Acting as an ambassador for the consultancy and confidently represent Fourtold externally.
Your everyday tasks will include managing the teams’ day-to-day activities, advising clients on their strategic significance, formulating public affairs and communications strategies and materials, building policy and media networks, and supporting outreach with relevant stakeholders.

You will need to be able to demonstrate:

Proven leadership ability, enthusiasm, and strategic thinking.
Strong expertise and established networks in the healthcare sector and beyond.
Ability to build strong and deep relationships at all levels with clients and stakeholders.
Experience providing senior counsel and a forward-looking approaches through deep understanding of the client’s business and issues.
Project management skills for complex projects and annual programmes, including timelines, deliverables, interdependencies, resourcing and budgets.
Commercial acumen to drive growth from existing clients and further develop the consultancy’s reputation.
Drive, expertise and innovative approaches to create new business opportunities in the healthcaresector and beyond.
The ability to lead motivated and high performing teams, as well as to mentor and coach team members.
